SignUpSpree (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by ClickingSpree LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use SignUpSpree.com and any associated subdomains (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an account.
Organization information: organization name, subdomain, and settings you configure.
Sign-up and event data: volunteer names, email addresses, and responses to custom sign-up form fields.
Payment information: billing details processed by Stripe. We never store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically

Usage data: pages visited, features used, and timestamps — used to improve the product.
Device information: browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and debugging.

2. How we use your information

To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
To send transactional emails (sign-up confirmations, reminders, password resets).
To process payments through Stripe.
To respond to support requests.

To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data to serve advertising.

3. How we share your information

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers: We use Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email), and hosting infrastructure providers who are contractually bound to protect your data.
Within your organization: Organization admins and owners can see member data within their own organization.
Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of SignUpSpree or others.
Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — you will be notified in advance.

4. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except as required by law (e.g., billing records retained for 7 years for tax purposes).

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights including:

Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data.
Portability: Export your data in machine-readable format.
Objection: Object to certain types of processing.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. 8. Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, HMAC-signed tokens, and industry-standard security practices. No system is 100% secure — please protect your account password and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
